You'd never invite a thief into your house. So why would you allow thoughts that steal your joy to make themselves at home in your mind?

Those thoughts that sneak into your head when you're not totally aware, negative thoughts that create tension; are draining your joy reserves.

Negativity causes stress and stress will manifest into disease. You want to eliminate it at all costs. But, in fact, you have been allowing it in, haven't you? Don't feel bad, you are certainly not the only one, it happens to all of us. Nevertheless, the only one that can control your thoughts is you. You need some method of selective thinking, a way to eliminate negative thoughts and keep your mind clear for positivity.

Because all negative thoughts are fear based, you need to train your mind to think about what you want in life and avoid thoughts of what you don't. To quote Byron Katie... "don't listen to your stressful thoughts."

Never allow your thoughts to steal your joy. If you are living in the past it causes depression and the future can make you anxious, so stay in the present. Be right here, right now, and be all here. Don't let your mind wander off into Never Never Land, stay right here. It's a process, it takes practice to have peace of mind.

What you see can depend on a multitude of underlying issues, emotions, and circumstances. It's about exactly 'where you are' at the time, you put your own spin on it. You see things as you are, no one is the same, so versions vary. 

Our perception of an event or situation will be determined by our background and experiences. Expanding your horizons will expand your point of view. If your ego has been running your show, by simply admitting that there may be another version of a story could change everything for you.  


Think of a situation that has caused you grief... take an honest evaluation of how it 'went down', consider the part you played and how you reacted to the other person. Just admitting what might be a flaw in your perception, can sometimes lead to a healing.


Be open to the possibility that things are not always as they seem. Life is not in black and white. There is always another version of the story.

It may seem pretty far-fetched to some that your soul actually wrote the script for your life here on earth. Nonetheless, YOU wrote the play, you chose all the players and all the interactions throughout this lifetime. You did it in such great detail, each and every person you are destined to meet, each experience that will arise, where, when and how. It will end up being the bane of your existence, for your entire life, figuring out the WHY. The WHY usually refers to what you are here to experience and learn.

Everyone arranges their lifetime to learn what they need to learn even before they arrive here on earth... earth IS the school of hard knocks. 

There are no coincidences, no mistakes, it's all orchestrated, it is all meant to be. Nothing you do is wrong, you are not on the wrong path or going in the wrong direction, you are exactly where you need to be. You have never stayed too long or wasted your time, everything will happen as it is meant to when it is meant to. Everything is geared toward teaching you something that is important for your growth. 

Not a single interaction with a single person is left out of the process of your becoming.

Just don't accept any of the negativity coming at you from others, simply move on. 

There is no need to argue, point out wrong doing, shame or recriminations, none of it does any good... it only supports their attitude and shows you in a bad light. You don't have to react in any way as they aggressively state their opinion, just walk away. They have shown you who they are, don't try to rewrite the script. 

People are who they are and will do what they do. 

You have no control over anyone else, you are not going to straighten them out, and you're never going to change them, or convince them that you know a better way. There is really nothing you can do, therefore, why let them step on your peace? 

You can't change someone who doesn't see an issue in their actions. The only person you can change is yourself, and you know how hard that is. How, then, do you propose to change someone else?  

Remove yourself from the situation, then the person has permission to be who he is, AND you don't have to participate in the drama.

This quote makes you think. We all seem to take our life for granted on a day to day basis. Unless we have a major disaster, whereby realizing our mortality, it seems as though complaining is a major life activity. 

We are not too pleased with the body we received, or at least some part of it. We may not be too happy with our job, our home, or the family we received either; this constitutes a large part of the life we are leading, doesn't it? 

That being said, most of us do HAVE a complete functioning body, a home, a job and family around us. We all know, of course, that there are people worse off than we are, but does that make us completely happy or grateful for our blessings? 

We have every advantage, especially compared to a great section of the earth, but are we programmed to expect even more? Many people in our own privileged country have survived loss in countless ways; financial, physical, and emotional. And some have survived war, illness, and death, but still, do we appreciate all that we have? 

I'd like to think that most of us, at least sometimes, practice gratitude. We have been given a life and it really is quite amazing. Check your pulse, be grateful for the gift of life.

It's easy to let days fly by without taking notice of the world around you. Life is beautiful... soak it in, think about it, and be grateful.

If you watch the nightly news or read facebook, twitter, newspapers and the subject matter has a negative effect on you, it doesn't matter if it is sadness, outrage, fear or anger, it will stay with you. You carry that feeling with you, sometimes even seeing a rerun in your mind's eye to cement it even further into your psyche. Therefore, the vibration you are sending to the Universe is also negative. 

You pick up the vibrations from other humans along the way, combined with, any number of situations that happen throughout your day will contribute to the feeling of doom and gloom. Even if you are trying to remain positive, all these random hits could be dragging you down. This is the reason for a conscious decision, daily, to keep your vibration high. You have to work at it, it will not simply happen. Surround yourself with upbeat people, get out of your head, commune with nature and animals. No one can afford one minute of negativity.

Your job is just to be happy, however, only you can make that happen. Stay in your own business, don't take life too seriously, don't dwell on the world situation and things you cannot change, spread love and just let life flow.

It's amazing how things come into place when you use the power of the universe and stop believing that you create through the mundane, mediocre, not-very-powerful-at-all action that you muster by dragging your bodies from place to place.

Your action was never meant to be the way that you'd create your reality. The action was the way you meant to enjoy the reality that you create through the aligning of your thoughts. Abraham

One More Time: your ACTION was never meant to be the way you create your reality. I have no idea what school of thought you were raised with, but the school of hard knocks that I was enrolled in, certainly taught that the 'way to the top, to get ahead, to succeed,' was HARD work, your nose to the grindstone etc. In other words, if you work, work, work, you will succeed, succeed, succeed. Maybe it was because we were confused about the word 'succeed', I know most of us thought that meant a good job, great pay, and CHOICES. 

At this point in my life, I finally understand that struggle was never on the agenda. Although I employed the 'action' method, I found that the harder I worked, the 'behindier' I got, so I tried not working harder, but working smarter, with the same result. Either way, I was struggling to achieve, attain, fulfill, earn, win. gain, and/or score.

Therein lies the problem. I was setting myself up for struggle, using the action to try and achieve, never realizing that results (getting what you want) came from me, my vibration, the frequency I was emitting. Never did anyone emit a positive frequency while struggling to make ends meet. Your reality WILL be whatever you want it to be... End the struggle, enjoy your life and everything you want will come to you.

Sometimes we just do not want to acknowledge something, because we don't want to deal with it, at least not right at this moment. So we shove it further and further down inside in the hopes that it will stay out of sight and leave us alone. 

I am here to tell you that it will never leave you alone, not really. It will continue to float to the surface on its own, but if there is no acknowledgment, no willingness to work on the issue, then someone will enter your life that will precipitate (cause an event or situation, typically one that is bad or undesirable, to happen suddenly or unexpectedly) some scenario to get your attention. It will make itself known no matter what you do to avoid it, but in the meantime, it will sit and fester. 

It is never good to leave things bottled up inside, it can cause no end of problems. Obviously, the best thing you can do is face it and let it go, but that is most often easier said than done. 

It is an extremely brave act to face your demons, even though, you know once you look at them, once you SEE them, there is no turning back. No matter how scary the idea of taking charge of your life, releasing the demons and coming back to love may be to you, the overwhelming relief and gratitude that is the result will be greater than most anything you have experienced to date. It is always better on the outside than on the inside.

Do you understand? We are all one, all connected. Even on your deathbed, there are lessons to be had .... by someone. 

You have probably heard stories of a woman dying in the hospital and her favourite son has not been to see her. Beyond all expectation, she hangs on until her son finally shows up and then quietly slips away. There was a lesson for someone, either her or her son or perhaps someone else in the room; the doctor, a nurse, friend, or another family member.

You are here to learn, but also to teach. Each day, you are showing others the way. You, just being you, have a profound effect on someone, maybe even someone you have never met. The way you act, something you do, connects with another soul on this planet. And right until the end, you are showing others the way.

You never know who you have touched or who garnered a life lesson from you. You may have had a friend or your child express their gratitude for all you have taught them, but they are not the only ones. We all work off each other. Each scenario is orchestrated, each has a meaning, and is leading somewhere. Nothing is as it seems and everything happens for a reason. If you are involved it is because you were meant to be. Someone is counting on you to learn what they need, or you have something you need to learn. Everything has a greater significance than any of us can fathom. You are a necessary part of the overall plan, you are important and significant. 

Everything you learn is meant to be shared, and someone will benefit from your message.

If you don't meet resistance with resistance, it dissipates dramatically. It just softens. Try it! Next time somebody says to you, "I'm right, and you're wrong," say "Pfftt, you're right. YOU are right." And mean it. In other words, don't mock them, don't be sarcastic. "You're right." And then watch how all of a sudden, their legs almost go right out from under them. They don't have the energy to blast you because you just took the fuel away from the fire.

Have you ever tried this? I have learned over time, that the way to deal with an irate person, was to simply agree with them. This will leave them limp, with no recourse. It defused the bomb. Usually, the person that comes after you verbally has other issues playing in the background and the 'attack' has nothing to do with you, personally. Once they pause for breath, just calmly say, "I agree with you completely and I would be angry too." or "You are absolutely right and I am absolutely wrong." This usually ends the confrontation.

Would you rather be right or be happy? Are you childish enough to feel that you have to win at everything? Is it more important to 'fight the good fight' all the time or to actually enjoy living your life? 

When you know who you are there is no need to EVER defend yourself, you are able to let things run off your back. Life is not meant to be a competition. 

Just be yourself, do your own thing, be happy and you will be perfectly fine.

You create a blueprint for your life, it is all decided before you arrive here on earth. This blueprint is even recorded in your fingerprints; it gives a detailed map of the person you intend to become and reveals your life's purpose (your area of greatest potential and fulfillment, plus your life lesson.) Although you have set up your life in a particular way, you also have the power to change it. 

You make choices according to what is necessary, desired or demanded of you. Even though you may be unaware that a choice is offered or that you are choosing, you are. I often wondered if, during those times, such as the second before the fall, the crash or any major life changing moment; do you strategize? Do you plan your next move, do you try to save yourself by doing what's necessary or do you just freeze and shut down? In my case, I discovered that in that split second, you do figure out what you have to do to save yourself, and you do it, to the best of your ability in the circumstances. 

This would be the defining moment, this is when you make your choice... It may have been written that you wouldn't resist and just go with it, thus ending your time here, but you chose to hang around for awhile longer and learn the lessons of healing....you have awakened a new future. You are more powerful than you know, you are in charge, you can have any life you want.

Most often it's our belief about 'what is' that is the problem - 

beliefs we insist on holding & defending without question.

How often do you do things robotically, without any consideration or forethought, simply by rote?  We are such creatures of habit that it is not uncommon for us to be asked to explain how a certain process is done and not be able to come up with an answer, even though we do it constantly. We don't pay any attention to what we are doing, it's simply habitual repetition.

This is how our belief system works... Belief: an acceptance that a statement is true or that something exists. 

Your beliefs have been stockpiled since childhood from various sources, parents, teachers, culture, religion etc. and you have always automatically reacted to certain situations, in the same manner. The mind just refuses to go anywhere else. You believe what you are doing or saying, without ever having questioned or examined it. Until you are in a situation that rocks your world, you may never take a look as to why you do what you do.

It is certainly time to take a look at why you are missing out on so many things in life. Are you running some old record of beliefs that is no longer valid for your life? You need to take a look at all your belief system and question each and every one of them. Figure out which to keep and which to kick to the curb, you will feel a gigantic sense of relief when you do.

It is not necessary to miss out on anything in this lifetime. The only one stopping you is you.

Healthy Lifestyle....


We are all fully aware of how important it is to eat properly and exercise, but is that where it ends? In the process of hiking, biking and running, is there any time for the inner body health regime? What are you doing for your emotion, spiritual and mental health?  

The benefits of outdoor activities are considerable for your inner health IF you are actually noticing your surroundings, not so much if you are just obsessing about surpassing your best time. BREATHE. 

You can try and run off the stresses of your life, you can take a bike tour to a different location, or hike to the highest peak in the world, but you have to be "IN" the environment, smell it, feel it, see it, hear it.... become one with nature to have it nourish your soul.

If you make time to walk in the woods and see all there is to see, you will notice a calming effect come over you. Nature is a healer. 'Being in nature, reduces anger, fear, and stress and increases pleasant feelings. Exposure to nature not only makes you feel better emotionally, it contributes to your physical well being, reducing blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tension, and the production of stress hormones. In addition, nature helps us cope with pain. Because we are genetically programmed to find trees, plants, water, and other nature elements engrossing, we are absorbed by nature scenes and distracted from our pain and discomfort.'

There is a reason for each and every one of us to be here at this time. We will be raising the collective consciousness as we absorb and assimilate what we came here to learn. Everything is a lesson and everyone is a teacher.

We enter the world perfect and whole, and, of course, we remain perfect and whole. It doesn’t appear that way to us because life steps in, buttons are installed, issues are implanted, and we end up a hot mess.  There is, however, a purpose to all this; to learn the lessons, to gain the experiences, and hopefully avoid going through that particular lesson again as you continue on your path.

Everyone that has anything to do with you, you have chosen. You set this up, to learn what you needed to learn. Every person on the planet has gone through the same procedure. You are actually in charge, this is your life, and you are running the show.

We volunteered to come to Planet Earth at this time to raise the collective consciousness back to its original Divine Template.

We have chosen to return to the earth again this time because we still have more to learn. We enter into situations with chosen people for this purpose. Everyone that crosses our path has a purpose in the 'big picture'. There are no accidents and no mistakes.

I know this concept is unorthodox and peculiar to some, just as the heaven & hell scenario sounds peculiar to me.

When we are still in the spirit state, our souls decide on the life we will have on earth this time. We enlist other spirits to do the life with us and play particular roles in our new existence. They agree to play the parts, for which we are truly grateful, as this means we will be receiving the guidance that has prompted the return. These souls will show up in our lives at an appointed time and do exactly what they were meant to do to encourage our growth. This is why when you meet someone that seems familiar - it's as though you have known them all your life; it's because you do 'know' them, you chose them to play this part.

Everyone you meet is involved, it's divine. Not everyone will be kind and loving, there will be the ones that treat you badly, and they too, have a purpose. It's all about the lessons, which will continue until you are whole again. Each lesson learned contributes to your healing and growth.

It is a complex plan and it's universal. By learning your lessons and elevating your vibration, you are contributing to the advancement of the collective consciousness.  By healing yourself, you are assisting in the healing of the earth and everything on it.

Don't worry about what I'm doing, worry about why you're worried about what I'm doing.

Exactly! Worry about WHY you're worried about what I'm doing.

If you have ever wondered why someone is concerned about your day to day activities, why they think it is their business, or why criticism must go along with their worry. Here is the answer...

The answer is twofold  

1. The people that think they know what is best for you are living their own fears. These people seem driven to 'take care' of you, but they are usually doing it because you are doing something that scares them, something they are afraid to do themselves. The only other reason might be that they are control freaks and like to run everybody's life.

2. The fact that you are worried about someone else's opinion, or that you allow someone to dominate you, shows that you have self-esteem issues of your own.

The rule of thumb is... 'if I didn't ask for your opinion/advice, it's because I don't want/need it.'  You don't have to explain yourself, you are fully entitled to run your own life, your way. It is nobody's business what you do or how, or even when. 

Don't complain and don't explain! You need to let anyone trying to run your life know that it's unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Simply state your case and expect to be heard, don't argue, it is your life. Your self-esteem will grow each time you take care of YOU.

Every single day.... anyone that has lived in a position of fear, real or imagined, realizes how disruptive and stressful it can be. Fear has held back many people from any joy, happiness or adventure. It is an insidious, potential robbing, life-sucking force that can stop you in your tracks. Those that exploit or promote fear are cowards merely feeding their egos. You don't have to be involved, move past it, don't believe everything you hear or see. Listen to your inner voice and know that you are okay. Living in fear is not living at all. 

Fear has no real power, don't give it any.

There's no point in consistently worrying about everything. What will happen will happen regardless. So breathe, look on the bright side, have some laughs, fall in love, accept what you can't change, and carry on. To actually live is courageous, most people exist, that is all.

Que sera sera, whatever will be, will be.

It will be as it is meant to be. You can rant and rave, scream and cry, throw things, do anything that makes you feel better, but until it is time.... nothing will happen. You cannot control it, control is an illusion. You usually dig a bigger hole by fighting what is... you can't change the way things are at this moment, they already are. So, if you find yourself in some predicament, and feel the anger/indignation/resentment or whichever negative emotion is uppermost in your mind, rising within you... what do you do? You need to look at the situation, see what is going on, take it all in, and either change it or accept it. If you are able to change it then, by all means, change it; but if you cannot; your only choice is to accept it and carry on. 
It is what it is. 

If you are worrying that something may happen, you are wasting your time.... most things you worry about will never happen anyway. You cannot force anything to happen, so just go with the flow, it will happen or it will not. You need to trust that whichever way it goes, it is for the best. Just breathe. Live in the moment, do your life, enjoy yourself.
