Be Grateful....

This topic can be profoundly interesting, depending on how you look at it and how you feel about it.

Why were you delayed on the way to the meeting? Why were you stuck for hours in a traffic jam? Why did you miss your plane?  You may feel that this is just life and stuff happens and you may be right. Even when the plane that you missed crashed, you may still feel that it was a coincidence. Why would you be chosen to be saved? Why not you?

My feeling is that this is all part of the plan. There is a reason for everything. We may not know what that reason is....but there is a reason.

There were several stories after 9/11, about the person that was late for work, at the twin towers; and therefore survived. There are testimonials of other catastrophes where someone made it through the unimaginable. Were they just the lucky ones? Do you really think it's that simple?

There is a complex plan at work. You have a purpose, and if you are not in the line of fire, then you are not supposed to be. If you are in the line of fire and you survive, you were meant to. You are still needed here, you still have something to do, you may be the hero of the story, or you may be the one to relay it. It is a lesson for someone, the story of what happened to you. It will make people think, and question their beliefs, and it might just encourage someone to be more loving to their fellow man.

We don't know everything, why things happen as they do. We don't necessarily know why some die, some starve, some have illness or abuse. BUT we do know, somewhere deep inside, that we, for the main part, are extremely blessed.

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven" Ecclesiastes 3
