#486

Something very beautiful happens to people when their world has fallen apart: a humility, a nobility, a higher intelligence emerges at just the point when our knees hit the floor.

Marianne Williamson

You never really begin to live until you lose everything....

Having nothing is an ideal place to start. The greatest education you will ever get is in times of trouble... Not only does your 'better self' emerge, but you find out who your real friends are, the ones that are there for you when times are tough. Even though having your life fall apart may seem like an extreme method of getting your attention, it may turn out that that is the only way to get through to you. Usually, you have been receiving hints and nudges for quite some time before anything major takes place.

When you worst case scenario actually happens, there is always something to work on, something you have kept bottled up, that needs to be released. If you can possibly look at what has happened as an opportunity rather than a disaster, you are on the way to healing. We all have tough times, it's how you react that determines the outcome.

"When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change." Wayne Dyer

You can make this a beautiful thing, it may turn out to be the greatest opportunity of your life, the best thing that has ever happened to you. One thing is for sure, you will never be the same.
