Continuing to tell stories of shortage only continues to contradict your desire for abundance, and you cannot have it both ways.

You cannot focus upon unwanted and receive wanted.

When something is in your head, playing over and over like a broken record, when you have been wronged, received bad news, when you feel hurt, unloved, depressed or lonely, anytime you are living with a dark cloud hanging over your head, is when you need to dig deep in your happiness reserves and put them to work. Being in this state does not serve you well.

Everyone, even the most positive person, will be a victim of negativity sometime in their lives. You want to eliminate it as soon as possible.... train your mind to skip to a positive thought instead. You are in charge of all you think, as well as what you say and do. Think happy thoughts. You don't have to dwell on what disturbs you. 

You will keep perpetuating the negativity not only by focusing your thoughts on it but by discussing it with everyone you talk to. It doesn't matter what has taken place, what matters is that the more you focus on negativity, the more you bring into your life. You are not allowing the good in if you focus on the 'bad.' You want to let it go....post-haste!
