People often believe that because something happened, and because it is a fact or true, that it should be focused upon, and therefore kept vibrationally active. And so, many people keep many things active that do not serve them.

If we were standing in your physical shoes we would not keep something active in our vibration just because it happened. We would only keep things active that we want to repeat in our life experience.

Abraham-Hicks

I hadn't thought of this as, 'people often believe that because something happened, that it should be focused upon'. I don't feel as though people feel that it SHOULD be focused on, but it just seems to be the only thing on their mind.

Any major event seems to take up a major portion of your thoughts. Even if you are determined not to mention it or even think about it, there doesn't appear to be is anything else you want to think or talk about. Everything that anyone says or does, brings it to the forefront, and off you go.

When something serious and important has happened in your life, and you are angry, lonely, sad, scared, etc., it is totally understandable, and it WILL be the only thing you think of or want to talk about..... at the beginning. 'You don't want to keep something active in your vibration just because it happened.'

Everything changes with time, you may not forget what happened, but it won't be the only thing you have to think or talk about. 'Time heals all wounds', which is favourable for you and will keep you balanced at a higher vibration. "Turn your attention to the things that are working and the things that aren't working will begin working."

'You only keep things active that you want to repeat in your life experience.'
