Don't make where you are to big a deal. Let it be what it is, it's a moment in time where you have the choice to feel good or feel bad. That's all that it ever is.

Don't worry so much about where you are right now, whether or not you have accomplished everything you wanted to do. So many of us reach an age where we contemplate the situation and decide that we haven't lived up to our own expectations and/or the expectations of others. "I wanted to be a millionaire, CEO, olympian, seen Paris or be married with children, by the time I was 30 and I'm no closer to it than I was at 20."

Don't put that kind of pressure on yourself. You are only creating stress and setting yourself up for disappointment. It's great to have goals, but you also need to add an 'It's okay if I don't achieve this right on schedule, I'm still a wonderful, kind and thoughtful person' clause into that contract you made with yourself.

Don't beat yourself up for living your life. 'Stuff' happens, things need to get done, life takes over. You can't be everything to everybody.

"Life happens while you are busy making other plans." John Lennon

Allow life to be as it is, you don't have control of it anyway. Just accept things as they are, and carry on. What will be, will be!
