#235

I know this transformation is painful, but you're not falling apart; you're just falling into something different, with a new capacity to be beautiful....

Change is inevitable... and usually hard. It feels like you are being pulled into the middle of something that you are not necessarily ready or willing to be in.

We get comfortable in our comfort zone and often have no desire to change. But some circumstances are beyond your control, and no amount of kicking and screaming will stop change from happening. So, alter your attitude, and make it easier on yourself by practicing acceptance. You, alone, are in charge of your life, and there is no point in fighting change; it will get you no where. Accept, adjust, adapt.. this is how things are in this reality, it is a new beginning.

“Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.”  Leo Tolstoy

And then there is the flip side.... you want change. You have tried everything to improve your situation and you keep hitting a brick wall. Nothing is working, nothing changes, and you run into the wall again. "Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change." Wayne Dyer. You are continuing to bang your head against the wall and getting nowhere, try a new approach.

"When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves." Viktor E. Frankl

As you can see, when change happens YOU need to adjust your attitude. AND when you want things to change, YOU need to change your thinking. Common denominator.... YOU and CHANGE....it's up to you. Change the way you look at things, the way you react to change, and accept the here and now.
