#197

The same boiling water that softens potatoes hardens eggs. Its all about what you are made of, not your circumstances.

Great quote....

Even though we feel that whatever is taking place at the moment is what we are reacting to, it's actually a reaction from within ourselves.

You probably have experienced the differences in children within the same family; if we take two children, of the same sex, same parents, we will find that they usually do not react the same way to most situations. So their circumstances were similar, but their reactions are not. Isn't that interesting?

Simply stated...we all consist of different combinations of chromosomes. Whatever is in you when you arrive, determines who you will be. Even if you were not raised with your birth family, you would still have the same combinations that determine who you are. You are always YOU. As I have mentioned previously, your life's plan is written in your fingerprints, stating conclusively who you are.  You are always destined to be YOU.

To our make-up, we add our experiences, and this results in our story. The story often determines how we act or react to different circumstances, many times, over riding our true nature. It is our perception of our experiences that cause us to overreact to certain things, or follow certain destructive patterns. The story pushes your buttons and produces fear.

So your assignment in life is to get yourself back to what you are made of, to drop the story and be who you were meant to be. It is a process, it takes time and commitment to make it happen.  Drop the story and you'll drop the fear. Tune in to who you really are, who you are meant to be; don't be held hostage by your circumstances and/or your fears.
